There's greater pressure on Ricky Ponting to lead from the front in this Ashes series, given the inexperienced lineup he has to call on, says former Australian test bowler Glenn McGrath.
Ahead of the Ashes series Ponting's captaincy came in for criticism from the likes of fasting bowling legend Jeff Thomson and Ponting's approach in failing to dismiss the final England pair in the first at Cardiff has also been questioned.
But McGrath believes Ponting has shown he's up to the task and predicts Australia will go one nil up in the five test series with the second test getting underway tomorrow at Lord's.
