Flintoff retiring from test cricket after Ashes series

On the eve of the second Ashes cricket test, the inspirational England cricket all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has dropped a bombsehll by announcing his retirement from test cricket at the end of the series.

11 years after making his debut against South Africa, Flintoff says his body has had enough, and he's spent two of the last four years recovering from a variety of injuries.

Flintoff's catalogue of complaints, include hip, foot, knee and ankle problems and he's still considered to be in some doubt for the second Ashes test against Australia starting tonight at Lord's.
