Tahu future unclear, reportedly set for league return

Wallabies centre Timana Tahu has fuelled speculation about his future by failing to turn up to a national team training session amid local media reports the rugby league convert's headed back to the rival code.

The 28-year-old's reportedly signed a three-year contract to return to Parramatta, starting in the 2010 National Rugby League season.

Tahu played four Tests for the Wallabies last year after switching to union from league in 2007 and was named in Robbie Deans's squad earlier this year but hasn't appeared for the team this season.

Tahu, a dual international with the Kangaroos, is contracted with the New South Wales Waratahs and ARU until the end of 2011.
