Emerging cricketers beaten again

The New Zealand Emerging cricketers have been beaten by South Africa by 39 runs in a 50-over match at the four-team tournament in Brisbane.

After putting the South African Emerging players into bat the New Zealanders bowled well to dismiss them for 203 in the 49th over with Neil Wagner taking 3 for 37 while Tim Southee and Colin de Grandhomme took 2 each.

The New Zealand batters slumped to 57 for 5 before being dismissed for 164 in the 45th over... Anaru Kitchen made 37.

The New Zealand side, which is still looking for its first win at the tournament play India in a 50 over match today.
