Habana cleared to play 50th test

The Springbok winger Bryan Habana is free to play his 50th Test in Durban this weekend after South Africa Rugby dismissed reports that he had breached team protocol in returning to his hotel room late ahead of the Springboks' win over the All Blacks last weekend.

Newspaper reports had suggested that Habana had made his way back to his room in the early hours, a claim "devoid of any truth" according to SA Rugby acting managing director Andy Marinos.

Marinos says he spoke to Springbok coach Peter de Villiers and other members of the team management and they all assured him Habana had done nothing wrong.
