Holden's pulled off a major coup with the return of Craig Lowndes to its V8 Supercar stable following his defection to Ford in 2001.
Lowndes and team Vodafone teammate Jamie Whincup will race Holden Commodores from 2010, as the Triple Eight engineering outfit ditches Falcons for Commodores.
Whincup is the reigning V8 Supercar title holder while Lowndes is a former champion and Bathurst 1000 winner.
Team Vodafone has dominated this season's Supercar series, winning nine of the first 12 races.
