India booked themselves a place in the final of cricket's Emerging Players 2009 tournament with a five-wicket win over the New Zealand Emerging Players in their 50-over game in Brisbane.
New Zealand scored 246 for 9 with BJ Watling making an unbeaten 94 off 114 balls.
India reached their target in the 45th over.
New Zealand have won just one match so far in the tournament and their last match is the play-off for third and fourth - a 40-over match against the Australian Institute of Sport on Saturday.
India now go on to the final, also on Saturday, where they will meet South Africa, who beat the Australian side by 183 runs in yesterday's other game.
