St George-Illawarra have shown off their National Rugby League premiership credentials with a 26-12 victory over the Melbourne Storm at WIN Jubilee Oval.
The Dragons excelled in their biggest test of the season so far, scoring five tries to two to trump bogey side Melbourne in front of 16,474 vocal red-and-white fans.
But fellow high fliers, the 3rd placed Titans lost their unbeaten home record, going down 34-18 to North Queensland on the Gold Coast.
The upset ended the Titans' nine-game winning streak at Skilled Park.
