Flintoff turns third test England's way

England's departing superstar Andrew Flintoff turned the third Ashes cricket test the home side's way with a pulsating 74 from 79 balls on day four at Edgbaston in Birmingham.

In reply to Australia's 263, England were dismissed for 376 after a one hour delay to the start of play.

Trailing by 113 runs on the first innings, Australia ended the fourth day on 88 for 2, England picking up the wickets of Simon Katich and Ricky Ponting.
