Australia have drawn the rain-affected third Ashes cricket test against England after batting throughout the final day at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Trailing by 113 runs on the first innings, the tourists reached 375 for 5 in their second innings although England still entertained hopes of winning when they had Australia 161 for 4.
But Michael Clarke scored an unbeaten 103 and Marcus North 96 in a match-saving partnership of 185 runs.
So England lead the 5-match series 1-nil with the fourth test coming at Headingley in Leeds.
