Australia confident on Lee, England on Flintoff

Australia's captain Ricky Ponting says fast bowler Brett Lee has a good chance of being fit for the fourth Ashes test starting on Friday night in Leeds,

But England's Inspirational England allrounder Andrew Flintoff remains a day-to-day proposition for the vital Headingley test because of his niggling knee injury.

After the third test at Edgbaston ended in a draw Ponting said he'd expect Lee to be able to bowl.

He missed the first three matches with a rib injury and with Australia trailing 1-0 his experience could be a huge bonus.

Flintoff sent a scare through the England camp after he twisted his ankle and fell awkwardly while bowling on the final day, when he managed only 11 overs.

However England's captain Andrew Strauss is confident Flintoff will be able to play.
