The All Blacks flanker Scott Waldrom will return to top-class rugby on Thursday night after completing his recovery from a back injury he suffered while playing for the Hurricanes in the Super 14 semi-final three months ago.
Waldrom, who was understudy to captain Richie McCaw on New Zealand's tour of the northern hemisphere last year, has been named in the reserves for Taranaki's provincial match against Northland.
