Harbour boosts in bench with All Blacks

North Harbour has brought in All Blacks Luke McAlister and Rudi Wulf to boost the bench for Friday night's second round Air New Zealand Cup clash with Tasman at Albany.

Head coach Craig Dowd says it's too soon for them to start because McAlister's still getting over jetlag after returning from South Africa on Monday night while Wulf's back from a long injury break.

First-five Michael Harris and second five Andrew Mailei have been retained, leaving McAlister to slot in later in either position.

Changes to the 15 who started in the win over Canterbury see Nafi Tuitavake on the left wing in place of Ken Pisi, Michael Reid at tighthead prop for James Afoa and Robbie Colhoun for Malakai Ravulo at openside flanker.

There are five changes to Tasman's starting 15, three in the forwards and two in the backs.
