Black Caps warming up well in Sri Lanka

The New Zealand cricketers lead by 278 runs after two days of their three-day tour match against a Sri Lanka Development XI.

Daniel Vettori was unbeaten on 96 at stumps in Colombo, his captain's knock including nine fours and two sixes off 117 balls while Daniel Flynn, Ross Taylor and Brendon McCullum all made half centuries.

The Black Caps ended the day on 437 for seven, a lead of 278.
