South Sydney captain Roy Asotasi has been ruled out of the rest of the National Rugby League season after injuring his knee in the Rabbitohs' 36-22 win over Manly at Brookvale Oval on Saturday night.
The New Zealand international will also miss the Four Nations tournament in England in November after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in the the second half of the match.
He is expected to be sidelined for at least six months and should be fit for the 2010 NRL season.
