The New Zealand yachties Hamish Pepper and Craig Monk have finished second at the Star World Championships in Sweden.
The pair's 25th place in the final race wasn't enough to see off the challenge of Americans George Szabo and Rick Peters, whose third place put them seven points clear of Pepper and Monk.
The silver's still a credible result for the New Zealanders, who have only been competing together in the Star class since May - but they led going into the final day and will be disappointed not to have taken gold.
