The New Zealand men's hockey team has drawn 1-1 with Malaysia in Palmerston North in the second match of the five-Test series.
Malaysia opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Faizal Saari but the Black Sticks dominated the second half, Ryan Archibald scoring the equaliser from a rebound off a Richard Petherick penalty corner drag flick in the 60th minute.
Simon Child became the youngest New Zealand player to play his 100th match in the draw.
New Zealand leads the series 1-0 with the third Test in Napier on Thursday night.
