Brazil beat Estonia in friendly

6:47 pm on 13 August 2009

The Brazilian football team has made it nine wins in a row after a 1-nil victory over Estonia in Tallinn.

A goal just before halftime by striker Luis Fabiano was enough to secure the win and leave the Brazilians unbeaten in 17 matches.

The Confederations Cup winners utilised their bench in the second half, giving everyone a run in the lead-up to next month's World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Chile.

Brazilian coach Dunga says the team's main focus was to make sure every player had some game time, but also to come away with a win.

This was Brazil's first game since winning the Confederations Cup in June.
