The New Zealand A cricketers have scored a win over an Indian selection in their latest warmup match in Chennai.
The New Zealanders beat a Tamil Nadu Association eleven by 34 runs in a 2 day match.
After setting the locals a target of 280 on the first day, the New Zealanders put in a strong performance with the ball with Nathan McCullum taking 3 for 79 from 23 overs and Tarun Nethula 3 for 90 from 21 overs.
The victory gives New Zealand A two wins from its two warm-up matches in Chennai.
The team plays the opening match in the Buchi Babu All India Invitation Tournament on Sunday and Monday.
