Safety concerns over women's boxing

Keith Walker, a member of both the New Zealand and international Boxing Associations, says he is not concerned about the safety of women boxers competing in the next Olympics.

For the first time three women's weight divisions will compete in London 2012.

The lack of depth in the women's sport has lead some to believe its inclusion could lead to potentially dangerous mis-matches.

But Walker says these concerns are baseless as safety is a major priority.

He says the inclusion of women's boxing in the next Olympics is essential for the growth of the sport.
