The New Zealand squash number one Shelley Kitchen is 14 weeks pregnant and will take a break from the game.
Kitchen reached the semi-finals of the New Zealand Open last week, but has decided not to play the National Championships in Palmerston North this week.
Kitchen's partner is former world number three Anthony Ricketts.
The 29-year-old says she'll now take time out from the game until after the birth but hopes to be back for next year's Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
