Read says it'll be tough to keep record going

IRB rugby player of the year Kieren Read says the All Blacks won't remain unbeaten forever, but they'll be doing their best to keep their record going for a while yet.

The All Blacks scooped the IRB awards for a second straight year with Read taking the individual honour from Dan Carter. The All Blacks were named team of the year again and Steve Hansen retained his coach of the year honour.

This year the All Blacks won all 14 of their Test matches during 2013, a feat that has never before been achieved in the professional era.

Read says it'll be tough to keep that run going.

Kieran Read, the All Blacks and Steve Hansen will all be frontrunners to pick up the equivalent New Zealand awards on Thursday night.
