Shane Bond's return to international cricket couldn't have got off to a better start, taking a wicket with his first ball for New Zealand A in their tour match in India.
Playing in a national side for the first time in two years, Bond has taken 2-14 off four overs in his side's match against a Combined Districts eleven in the second round of an invitation tournament in Chennai.
New Zealand lost the toss and were put into the field, with the home side 36 for 2 after ten overs.
