The New Zealand sprinter Monique Williams has broken the national 200 metre record for the second time in 2 days but she has failed to make the final at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin.
Williams took another point 6 of a second of the new mark she set in the heats.
She finished third in her semi-final, but her time of 22 point 9 seconds wasn't good enough to get her into the final.
