There are 2 new caps in the Silver Ferns lineup to take on a World 7 in a series of matches starting in Wellington on Monday.
Shooter Anna Thompson and defender Larrissa Willcox along with the return of mid-courter Temepara George are the features of the side named by coach Ruth Aitken.
After being selected for the Silver Ferns Squad in 2008, Thompson has gone one step further and secured a spot within the team, while her Canterbury Tactix team-mate Wilcox has shone at the other end of the court.
After two years away from the international Netball stage, Temepara George is back after showing plenty of skill and leadership for the Northern Mystics.
The Silver Ferns team to play against the World 7 is Liana Barrett-Chase, Maree Bowden, Temepara George, Katrina Grant, Paula Griffin, Joline Henry, Laura Langman, Larissa Willcox, Anna Thompson, Maria Tutaia , Irene van Dyk , and Casey Williams - Captain.
