Morocco's Mariem Alaoui Selsouli, who pulled out of the women's 1500m final at the world athletics championships, has admitted she tested positive in an anti-doping test.
The Moroccan news agency MAP quoted Selsouli as saying she had undergone a test in Rabat before the championships and had been warned before the final that she was provisionally suspended.
Selsouli, who finished fourth in the Osaka worlds in 2007, did not indicate the substance involved.
