Ferrari rule out talk of Schumacher comeback

Ferrari has finally ended all talk of a Michael Schumacher comeback in the wake of Luca Badoer's miserable weekend at the European Grand Prix.

Team boss Stefano Domenicali says there is no way the seven-times champion German driver will be drafted in to replace Badoer who finished 17th as a deputy for injured Felipe Massa.

He says while he's happy Schumacher is training he can absolutely rule out a return this year as a racing driver.

Schumacher was lined up initially to replace Massa, following the Brazilian's serious accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix, but an old neck injury forced him to abandon his comeback.

Critics have had a field day after Badoer's error-strewn weekend in Valencia but Domenicali says

Schumacher would have struggled too on a difficult track.
