Young Australian wicketkeeper Tim Paine is looking forward to making his one-day international cricket debut against Scotland.
The 24-year-old Tasmanian will take up his position behind the stumps in Edinburgh this weekend as Brad Haddin undergoes surgery on his fractured left ring finger back home.
Paine says he's excited, after being rushed to England before the fifth Ashes Test at The Oval as back-up for Haddin's understudy, Graham Manou - who injured his hand at the end of the third Test.
Haddin ended up playing the final two matches of the series, but has been ruled out of the remainder of Australia's UK tour, which includes two Twenty20 matches against England in Manchester on August 30 and September 1 before seven one-dayers.
