The former New Zealand netball coach Yvonne Willering believes it's time Netball New Zealand looked at the development side of game.
This follows two losses to the Silver Ferns at the hands of a composite World Seven team this week.
Willering says the lack of development showed in the efforts of the under-21 side who failed to defend their world title in the Cook Islands recently.
The Silver Ferns play the final match of their three-game series against the world invitation side tomorrow night in Auckland.
