World 100 and 200 metres champion Usain Bolt is also fixing his sights on the long jump.
The triple Olympic gold medallist says he wants to try the event and is confident he'd be successful, having messed around with the discipline while at school although he's given no indication as when he might compete in it.
Mike Powell who holds the world record at 8.95 metres, believes Bolt could break the nine metre mark.
