Marks heads into tenth NBA season after re-signing with Hornets

Sean Marks, the first New Zealander to play in basketball's NBA competition has re-signed with the New Orleans Hornets in a deal that will take him into his tenth NBA season.

The 34 year old Marks joined the Hornets last year and is the fifth NBA side Marks has played for, having a strong season and getting on court in 60 games with five starts.

While the Hornets won't reveal the details of the contract the minimum deal for an NBA player is close to $2million a year.

Having spent time at the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors Marks has a reputation as a hard worker and reliable bench player.
