Washington Nationals baseball outfielder Nyjer Morgan has been placed on the 15-day disabled list after fracturing his left hand.
29 year old Morgan suffered the injury while stealing third base during the Nationals' 5-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
He is batting .307 with 42 stolen bases this season.
