The English rugby 'bloodgate' affair has taken another twist with English newspaper the Sunday Telegraph reporting players could be faking blood injuries at international level.
In an investigation earlier this year, England's Rugby Football Union found Harlequins winger Tom Williams had bitten into a capsule of red dye and then been substituted as injured during a European Cup game.
But former England lock Paul Ackford says in the Sunday Telegraph the investigation recieved evidence of more widespread cheating, including at an international level.
The RFU is now preparing to investigating the England national side.
