China's Li Na has reached the quarter-finals of the US Open with a 6-2 6-3 win over Francesca Schiavone of Italy.
Na will play the winner of the match between third seed Venus Williams of the United States and former champion Kim Clijsters of Belgium for a place in the semi-finals.
