Black Caps trounce India in fifth and final one dayer

The New Zealand cricketers have won the fifth and final one day international against India by 87 runs, to take the five-match series 4-0.

Batting first the home side made 303 for five, with Ross Taylor scoring 102, his second consecutive century.

Kane Williamson made 88, his fifth straight half century, as the pair put on 152 for the third wicket.

India never appeared to seriously chase the target with Virat Kohli, 82, and skipper M S Dhoni, 47, the only innings' of note as the tourists limped to 216 all out.

The debutant Matt Henry took four wickets for the Black Caps.

The two sides now play a two test series, the first of which begins in Auckland on Thursday.
