Von Bertouch remains in doubt for second Test

The Australian netball coach Norma Plummer is preparing for the likelihood of a second Test without vice-captain Natalie von Bertouch when the trans-Tasman series moves to Melbourne tomorrow night, although a final decision has been left with the team's medical staff.

The Silver ferns beat Australia 53-50 in Sydney on Sunday with von Bertouch missing after suffering an injury playing the World Seven last week.

Plummer says even if von Bertouch is cleared it doesn't mean she'll play as she was very happy with replacement Kim Green.

Meanwhile, Silver Ferns wing attack Liana Barrett-Chase is in doubt for the match with Wendy Telfer being flown across as cover.

The New Zealanders have a good record in Melbourne, having won their last three matches there.
