The Springbok coach has once again given the home fans ammunition for this weekend's Tri Nations contest by inferring that the Test venue, Hamilton, is boring.
"Hotel fatigue" is Peter de Villiers' excuse for keeping his South Africans on the Gold Coast until Thursday, maintaining that otherwise the Boks will be cooped up in their digs in the Waikato city with nothing to do.
De Villiers says if they have nothing to do, his side's thoughts will turn to home rather than the task at hand.
Peter de Villiers won't name his side until tomorrow while the All Blacks are named this afternoon.
