The injured Bulldogs halfback Brett Kimmorley says his recovery from a broken cheekbone remains on track and he hopesl he'll be back in week three of the Nztional Rugby Leaguefinals.
Kimmorley returned to training to do some light exercise, as his team-mates prepared to face Newcastle in Saturday night's qualifying final .
The Bulldogs would earn a week off with a win over the Knights and would then play a grand final qualifier in week three of the play-offs.
But theystumbled without Kimmorley last Friday night, thrashed 34-12 by the Wests Tigers and surrendering the minor premiership with Daniel Holdsworth in the No.7 jersey.
Holdsworth has been named as Kimmorley's replacement again for Saturday.
