Taylor set to be given boot by Rabbitohs

The South Sydney rugby league coach Jason Taylor has five days to save his job after being issued with a formal breach notice by the NRL club.

Rabbitohs management have found the young coach breached his contract after an investigation into an altercation with the New Zealand forward David Fa'alogo at the players' end of season drinks last Sunday.

The intoxicated coach was punched to the ground by the departing Kiwi Test player, who's off to Huddersfield in England on a four-year deal next season.

It's expected Taylor will be sacked over the incident while Fa'alogo remains under NRL contract until the end of October and can also officially be sacked, or heavily fined

Even a vote of confidence by co-owner Russell Crowe as little as two weeks ago probably won't save Taylor's job.
