The Springbok captain John Smit says he's motivated by results and not by silencing his critics in tonight's tri-nations match against the All Blacks in Hamilton.
A relatively inexperienced Wallaby front row put the Boks scrum under pressure in their win in Brisbane last weekend, with Smit coming under some critcism.
He says the important thing is to focus on his teammates and doing he best he can.
He says it's just another opportunity to pull on the jumper, and the more people listen to criticism, the more it affects them.
The All Blacks need a win with a bonus point to have any chance of retaining the trophy, while the springboks need just a bonus point to take it for the first time since 2004.
