The New Zealand netball coach says Australia's defensive pressure was the key to their 36-33 win over the Silver Ferns in Brisbane last night.
The loss leaves the Ferns 2-1 down in the best of five trans-tasman netball series heading into the last two games in New Zealand.
The Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken says the Australian defence never allowed the Ferns to find their attacking rhythm.
The fourth test will be played in Invercargill on Sunday.
