India's top sports official has called for a revamp of the New Delhi Commonwealth Games organising committee after widespread concerns over preparations for the event.
Randhir Singh, secretary general of the Indian Olympic Association says the Games, which are just over 12 months away, have to be retrieved and immediate organisational changes are needed.
The Commonwealth Games Federation president Mike Fennell has sought a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to seek his help in the build-up to the Games.
