Two more wins for Team NZ

Team New Zealand has all but won the MedCup after two wins at the final regatta in Spain.

While other teams struggled in short, steep seas off Cartagena, Team New Zealand revelled in the tough conditions with the wind gusting to 27 knots.

Tactician Ray Davies says a good start and flawless crew work helped in the high speed racing, which saw equipment fail and sails shredded on other yachts.

Davies says after calling the tactics his other job was keeping the skipper and helmsman Dean Brker wedged inside the boat as they ploughed through walls of white water.

He says although the title's all but theirs they'll be keeping the hammer down to win the regatta too.
