Smith just focused on Wallabies, not All Blacks

The battle to stave off the Tri Nations wooden spoon has garnered an eery fascination for rugby fans.

The Wallabies are coming off a win and the All Blacks are desperate to avoid a number of unwanted records, including an unbeaten home stretch against tonight's opposition in Wellington.

The sole survivor of Australia's last win here in 2001 is skipper George Smith - but he's not dwelling on it nor on the All Blacks.

Smith says all they can worry about is what they can control.

No matter what the result, Smith will win a record 23rd straight cap against the All Blacks tonight.
