Wellington Olympic has claimed its first ever Chatham Cup football final, beating Auckland club Three Kings United 2-1 at North Harbour Stadium.
Three Kings took an early lead through midfielder Luiz del Monte before Olympic's Miroslav Malivuk levelled the scores before halftime.
A controversial penalty converted by Olympic's Raf de Gregorio sealed the victory late in the second half.
Wellington Olympic's only previous appearance in the Chatham Cup final saw them finish runners-up in 1994.
