San Diego Chargers defensive tackle Jamal Williams will miss the rest of the season after being placed on injured reserve with a triceps injury.
Williams, 33, has been replaced on the active roster by defensive end Andre Coleman who comes in from the practice squad, the team said in a statement.
The loss of the 12-year league veteran comes at a bad time for the Chargers who are already missing running back LaDainian Tomlinson and center Nick Hardwick, each because of sprained ankles.
