The All Blacks coach Graham Henry says the squad for the six match end of season tour won't include many newcomers.
He says he and his fellow selectors see the northern hemisphere trip as an opportunity to give less established players more game time and a chance to cement a place in their thinking for the world cup.
Henry says most of the current squad will return to the national provincial championship for two or three games, but some will be given a few weeks off.
