Wawrinka joins Murray in Indian Wells exit

The Australian Open tennis champion Stanislas Wawrinka has been knocked out of Indian Wells in the fourth round by the 17th seeded South African Kevin Anderson.

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has also been knocked out by the Canadian Milos Raonic.

The tournament is also over for rising Australian star Casey Dellacqua who was beaten in the women's quarter-finals by the Romanian Simona Halep.

Roger Federer cruised into the quarters with a straight sets win over fellow veteran, the German Tommy Haas.

The only player left in the men's draw with a higher ranking than world number eight Federer is Serbia's Novak Djokovic, who plays Marin Cilic of Croatia in the night feature.
