Blackcaps keeping feet on ground after impressive win

The New Zealand all-rounder James Franklin says the Blackcaps are keeping their feet firmly on the ground after their impressive 38 run victory over Sri Lanka at the cricket Champions Trophy tournament in South Africa.

The Blackcaps batsmen managed to find some rare form with half centuries from Jesse Ryder and Martin Guptill helping the New Zealanders plunder 315 runs from their 50 overs.

Called into the squad just 24 hours before the clash Franklin says it's great to be part of a winning Blackcaps performance but says the side are well aware they must beat England in their next game to move into the semi-finals.

James Franklin says a battle hardened England will provide a stern test for the Blackcaps, having recently played a tough seven match one day series against Australia.
