Celebrations already over for Melbourne's Kiwi coach

Celebrations of Melbourne's National Rugby League grand final success have already come to an end for assistant coach Steve Kearney.

Kearney, who's also the Kiwis coach, has named his 23-strong tour party for the upcoming Four Nations tournament in England in France, with seven new caps and 12 members of last year's world cup winning squad.

Four Kiwis players who were part of Sunday's final, including Adam Blair and Jeff Lima who were part of the Storm effort, have been given extra time to celebrate.

But Kearney says he won't be with them as he had his couple of beers and is looking forward to getting his teeth into the Kiwis campaign.
